Discipleship Groups

As followers of Jesus, we are His lifelong "disciples" - which means students or learners.

One of the best ways to grow as a disciple is to be part of a small group who meet together regularly.  These usually consist of 6-12 people from church, or those who want to know more about Christianity, who meet to share food, pray, discuss the Bible and develop deep friendships.  There will be various ways to be part of a small group through the coming year.  Some opportunities will be through courses like Alpha and the Prayer Course.

We also encourage everyone to develop the life-giving pattern of daily Bible reading and prayer.  See here for helpful ideas of how to get started.

Also, keep an eye out for our Super Saturday programme.  These will be special intensive discipleship mornings when we go deeper into a book of the Bible or a special topic together.

Another key way to grow as a disciple is to serve on one of our teams.  These include:

• Music team
• Production team
• Hospitality team
• Communications team
• Prayer team
• Pastoral visiting team
• Youth team - launching 2024
